Privacy Notice

Last updated: October 3, 2026 · Chengdu Jishang Technology Co., Ltd.

1. Our promise: your data stays on your computer

Memo Store is a desktop agent that runs on your personal computer. Our core design principle is this: your tasks, notes, memories, preferences, and similar data are stored locally on your device by default, not on our servers. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

This notice explains what information the software processes and under what circumstances. Please read it together with the Terms of Service.

2. Information we process

  • Local feature data. The tasks and kanban boards you create, the notes you write, review cards, your conversations with the agent, memory entries, and preference settings are all stored in your device's local storage. This data is never uploaded to our servers automatically.
  • Communication with model services. When you use capabilities such as smart replies or illustration generation, the context needed to complete the request is sent to the model service provider you configured yourself. This communication happens directly between your device and that provider, and how it is handled is governed by that provider's privacy policy. You can change or disable the configured provider in settings.
  • Third-party sign-ins in the in-app browser. When you sign in to third-party websites in the built-in browser, the associated credentials (such as cookies and session tokens) are stored only on your device, and only to keep you signed in. We do not collect these credentials.
  • Content search and recommendations. When you use features such as video search or content recommendations, the software generates the search intent locally based on your notes and your mastery of the material, then queries the relevant content platforms. Search requests contain only the information necessary to complete that query.

3. Storage and security

Local data is stored on your device's disk, protected by your device's own security mechanisms such as screen locks and disk encryption. We recommend keeping system-level protections enabled and taking good care of your device.

If a future version introduces any feature that collects information over the network (optional crash diagnostics, for example), it will follow an explicit-consent principle: off by default, active only after you turn it on, and honestly documented in this notice.

4. Third-party services

The software's capabilities rely on a number of third-party services: the model services you configure, the content platforms you visit, and the distribution channels used for software updates. We do not control how these third parties handle information; please refer to their respective privacy policies.

5. Retention and deletion

Because your data lives on your device, you are in full control: you can view, export, or delete any task, note, memory, or conversation at any time within the app; uninstalling the software removes all of its local data (leftover files in custom data directories can be deleted manually).

6. Your rights

Under applicable personal-information protection laws and regulations, you have the right to be informed and the rights to access, correct, and delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to obtain a portable copy. Because data is stored locally, most of these rights can be exercised directly in the app; if you need assistance, contact us through official channels and we will handle your request promptly after verifying your identity.

7. Minors

This software is intended for general users and is not designed for children under the age of fourteen. If you are a minor, please use the software under a guardian's guidance, and pay particular attention to a guardian's permission for your use of third-party services.

8. Updates to this notice

We may update this notice as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced prominently through in-app notices or notices on this website, and the date shown at the top reflects the latest update. If you continue using the software after an update, you are deemed to accept the updated notice.

9. Contact us

If you have any questions, comments, or requests about this notice, you can reach Chengdu Jishang Technology Co., Ltd. at contact@memorai.store or through the in-app feedback channel.
